Shelf Life playlist

The playlist for SHELF LIFE is so very different from my others in that it’s not as moody/gothic, and not a stitch of classic music. I needed to capture the rural Midwest and the area’s blue collar, middle-class Rust Belt flavor.

Enjoy!

“Youngstown” – Bruce Springsteen (I just wish he said “Mahoning Valley” instead of “Monongahela Valley”)

“Now” – Paramore

“Speed the Collapse” – Metric

“War of Change” – Thousand Foot Crutch

“Best Day of My Life” – American Authors (if SHELF LIFE were made into a movie, this would play during the opening credits) šŸ™‚

“Do I Wanna Know” – Arctic Monkeys

“Flame” – The Clarks (This is a Pittsburgh regional band.)

“Good Man” – Devour the Day (This is definitely Pete’s anthem.)

“American Boys” – Halestorm (This is Ava and Lindsey’s anthem.)

“Stubborn Love” – The Lumineers (This pretty much sums up Pete and Lindsey.)

“Thistle and Weeds” – Mumford & Sons

“Survival” – Muse

“Iron Army” – In This Moment (Warning – this is explicit)

“It’s Nice to Be Alive” – Ballpark Music
