Happy Six Sunday! Hope everyone had a good week, and thanks for stopping by and commenting. FYI, the other participants can be found here. Be sure to check them out.
Below, these six pick up where last week’s left off. Dylanie is on her bedroom porch at Oakleigh, and the man who’s been calling her name and asking to come in is now standing next to her (she said yes):
This close, it’s obvious he’s not much older than me, maybe a few years. He’s the most human, solid-looking spirit I’ve ever encountered—if that’s what he is.
“Go ahead,” he says, reading my mind.
“What?”
“Touch me. You want to.”
Gah! The smarm.
oooh, can I touch him! Great 6 Stephanie, as always. You have this underlying pathos running through these…
Intriguing, definitely makes me want to keep reading! Terrific excerpt!
I agree with Angela. Absolutely chilling undercurrent running through these. Great six, Steph!
Interesting six, but still want to know who he is!
Oh, yeah! She better touch him. Love his pic, too. Gorgeous!
I’m sure it’s hard to not comply with such a request. 🙂 As lovely and hypnotic as usual. Bits and pieces of this are simply torturous.
Oh, yes, touch him! Don’t worry about the lazy, evil grin! 🙂
Who is this bloke? Is he dead and a spirit? But then if he was she wouldn’t be able to make physical contact. Fascinating.
She better be watching what she thinks!! LOL. Can she see him or only feel him? Crazy sexy!
I’ll touch him! Intriguing, looking forward to reading more!
Um, yes. That’s Jackson except for his moss green eyes. Gotta have those!
You KNOW I love this story. And Jackson is SO hot. Love being able to see the pic! (Shiver) Can I request my favorite excerpt for next Sunday? You know the line I love!! LOL!
